And Tomorrow It Begins - Prayer Request

So, I got all my food and prep stuff for my Daniel fast. I begin tomorrow. Ironically, it will end July 3, so July 4 will truly be an Independence Day for me! Once I start, I'm not going to talk alot about it on Facebook, etc. I'm following the biblical guidelines that says to do things of spiritual reverence in private, and your Father, who sees in private, will reward you. I figure if any of my friends are interested in following my progress, by now they would have signed on to see my blog.

I got a prayer journal, and there is a different focus for each of the 21 days. So I am going to talk about that in my blogging, and also ask for prayer support in that regard in addition to prayer regarding my three overall goals: spiritual wholeness and healing, job and finances, and a physical breakthrough to restore my health better than it has ever been before.

DAY 1 - The prayer focus for Day 1 is salvation of souls. We are asked to write down some names of people we will be praying and fasting for, and if you are reading my blog and YOU have a loved one who you would like me to pray for as well, please let me know! I wrote down 12 names on my list - some family members, close friends, and a couple who I do believe are saved and know the Lord, but are really in need of some guidance in their walk right now. I don't want to say all the names because you all may know some of them and that wouldn't be fair to splash their names all over my blog, but please pray that God will touch each of them before July 4 in a way that lets them know He is real - and also, with some of them, that I will have an opportunity to share God with them.

I am getting ready to write out my guidelines for each day, because I want to spend a certain amount of time in prayer, worship, reading the word, etc. each day. I want to begin and end each day with journaling, to talk about how I feel when I get up each morning and when I go to sleep, and what the Lord showed me during that day.

So, PLEASE pray for me tonight, and I'll check in tomorrow!
